About Us
SISTERS OF MUSIC is a non-profit network by and for women who work in the live music industry and live in Austria. It consists of more than 250 members such as technicians, service providers and other professionals in the event industry. The networks aim is to connect and support women through online platforms, as well as mentoring programs, network meetings and other projects.

The SISTERS FESTIVAL is more than just a festival!
4 national and international acts, info stands, solidaric Sisters tickets, an exhibition, and of course our Sisters Crew make the Sisters Festival a place of female empowerment and at the same time ad of course create visibility for women: in front of, on and behind the stage!

WE ORGANIZE
Shadowing days: An experienced colleague lets someone who is interested in their field of work accompany them for a day.
Workshops: On a wide range of topics regarding event technology and event security.
Network meetings:
For women in the music industry to get to know each other personally, exchange ideas and make new contacts.
Damit sich Frauen aus der Musik Branche persönlich kennen lernen, austauschen und neue Kontakte entstehen können.
WE SUPPORT
Industry beginners with all professional questions, personal concerns and we help finding a mentor.
Young musicians concerning all technical and organizational questions and are happy to help with the search for technicians.
Our Sisters Crewpool is open to everyone who is looking for professsional staff or looking for a job!
WE EVALUATE
Women* in particular are affected by sexual harassment and violence! Even at events! Our SISTERS on SITE project evaluates events to make them safer!
